Getting there
- Main
- GTX-A Kintex Station (about 16 minutes to Seoul Station)
- Alternate
- Daehwa or Juyeop Station (Line 3) plus a 12-15 minute walk or a show-day shuttle
- Last-mile walk
- The hall sits in a big exhibition complex, so it is a 10-15 minute walk across the apron to either station
- Seoul Station -> GTX-A -> Kintex (about 16 minutes, the fast way)
- Hongdae / central Seoul -> Line 3 -> Daehwa or Juyeop -> walk or shuttle
- Daehwa -> 12-15 minute walk or the concert shuttle to the hall
- ICN -> AREX to Seoul Station -> GTX-A to Kintex
Getting home after the show
- The pinch is the walk out of the exhibition complex, not the trains. The halls are large, so give yourself 10-15 minutes to reach GTX-A Kintex Station or the Line 3 stops.
- GTX-A is the move home: it runs to Seoul Station in about 16 minutes and later than Line 3, so a central-Seoul hotel works fine for this venue. Tap in with a card that supports GTX (it costs more than the subway).
- Going cheaper on Line 3? Daehwa and Juyeop are a 12-15 minute walk, but the last Line 3 toward Seoul is roughly 23:00, so do not dawdle if the show runs long.
- A Kakao T concert shuttle is usually set up for these shows; book it in advance if you want a direct ride back rather than the walk plus transfer. Taxis queue hard right after, so walk a block out to hail one.
Where to stay, and what it costs on a show night
Right by KINTEX 1 (Exhibition Hall) the rooms spike hard whenever a concert lands. The cleaner move is a well-connected area a few stops out that stays closer to its normal price. Here is each stay area, cheapest first, with the normal nightly range and what it usually runs on a concert night.
The cheapest local rooms right by a Line 3 station
Line 3 terminus, a 12-15 minute walk to the hall
The liveliest food and the best value near the venue
A few minutes on Line 3, then walk or shuttle
Staying nearest the venue with newer hotels and the GTX line
Closest base, walk or one short hop to the hall
Typical nightly ranges for each area, not a live quote. Open an upcoming concert below for booking links with live prices for those exact dates.
Bag storage
KINTEX is a walk from the subway, so store at Daehwa or Juyeop Station on the way in; the lockers lock overnight, so use a 24/7 app for a late finish. See the luggage guide →

Chewy wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, a long-running Ilsan favorite.
Thick handmade pork cutlet that scores high with regulars (~4.5); a tidy, filling meal near the hall.
Old-school tteokbokki and fried snacks on the Lafesta strip, a cheap quick bite before the show.
A longtime Daehwa noodle house in the local food guides; the cheap warm bowl on the venue side of Ilsan, not the Lafesta strip.
Open 24 hours, so it covers the late hunger after the show when most of Ilsan has shut.
The naengmyeon spot Ilsan locals send first-timers to, good on a hot July show night.
